About This Course

You will learn to gather and cultivate Qi by studying Qigong theory and practice. You will also learn to understand and appreciate the mind/body relationship, resulting in physical, emotional, and spiritual awareness and a deeper connection with the universe. This form is based on the Three Secrets – Body Secrets, Language Secrets, and Mind/Concentration Secrets. Working with the Three Secrets allows the opening to universal awareness and new perspectives in your clinical practice. One Thousand Eyes Qigong provides movements and theories to support your new vision of a healthy lifestyle.

One Thousand Eyes Buddha is a form that follows One Thousand Hands Buddha. A very old form, it was originally part of a secret Buddhist practice, used only by monks and not taught publicly. According to Buddhist practice, the form is based on Three Secrets – Body Secrets, Language Secrets, and Mind/Concentration Secrets – secrets because you can only discover the meaning through practice.

One Thousand Hands Buddha Qigong & Self-Massage

A very important aspect of Qigong practice, self-massage can be a valuable preparation for your body and mind before you begin another Qigong method. 1,000 Hands Buddha is a superior, spiritual healing Qigong method, inspired by the symbolical positioning of Buddha’s fingers, referred to as “mudras” by Buddhists. Hun Concentration & Limit and Train the Po

These two methods support the optimal function of the coupled Hun (Liver) and Po (Lung) organs. This leads to a harmonization of the two spirits providing a landscape of correct direction for the health of the other zang fu organs. The form Concentrating the Hun, supports the health and function of the Liver and the Hun (our liver spirit). The Hun or Liver Spirit is responsible for our creativity, imagination, and ethereal soul. The form Limit and Train the Po, supports the health and function of the Lungs and the Po (Lung Spirits). The Po is responsible for our sensitivity, animal nature, and corporeal soul. These forms were initially recorded for DVDs.
